There are two different types of doors which are classified according to its functionalities. Single panel doors: The single panel doors have only one monolithic panel in it. If you want to open the single panel doors it can be done by remote system or by manually lifting the doors up. Sectional doors: This type of door contains up to 8 panels for sliding upwards and overhead. It has double advantage when compared with the single panel doors.

These doors are divided into two main sections that allow them to open upwards and get settled in the ceiling space of your garage. Though there are so many other door types in competition with them, up and over garage doors are almost of the same type but there is a slight difference in both these doors. Up and over doors move outwards and then they move upward to settle along with ceiling while when it comes to sectional doors then they don't need to move outwards to get settled with ceiling.
