The South African Government's Black Economic Empowerment policy has freed up vast amounts of money and enabled them to become a fast growing, hugely affluent, influential and important market. Currently many Black Diamonds drive state of the art motor cars such as the finest Mercedes or even Bentlys and Rolls Royces, wear the best clothes available and live in palatial homes - eight bedroom homes in the very suburbs such as Sandown, that once were the exclusive stamping ground of rich white people. They date smart ladies and vice versa.
